I usually come here for lunch on the days that I work, and there is always a line for the drive through. My schedule for work always changes, so I have been here during different times of the day. No matter what time of day, this location is always busy. Since I always order through the drive through, I always see an employee standing outside taking orders. Instead of ordering through the speaker, you give your order to someone with a tablet who stands outside. You would think that this makes the line go by faster, but it doesn't. There have been times where I've waited 35 min in the line. The food itself is pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary. I usually order the chicken, brown rice, and black beans tropichop with yuca frita. Pretty tasty. Their fried plantains are also pretty good. Main reason I come here is because this place is friendly to my pocket. I will continue to visit this location, because it's near my job and it's inexpensive.

I love the food but I honestly don't think they have ever gotten my order completely correct. I ordered a pork tropichop with brown rice, corn and tomatoes. I got chicken with white rice and onions. Thanks that's exactly what I ordered.

Just go to a different one. Pollo Tropical is good, but there is constantly a 10 car line just to get into the parking lot or even to order your food. The service is not that great and the place is not all that clean. Very rude staff members!!!! Definitely doesn't even deserve one star...

This place is horrible. The wait time is horrendous! The lobby and drive through is full of people. The staff here is super slow. What surprises me is that I heard no one complaint. This is unacceptable to wait 35 mins for my order! I should have gone to a restaurant.

Chicken on the walk! This Pollo Tropical is 99.% ALWAYS FULL! instead of chicken on the run its walking because it is extra slow! They either need to hire more customers or make another Pollo Tropical right next door. Food comes out fresh so thank god for that but it takes so slow! + you order something and you feel like you are not in the USA everyone speaks to you in Spanish as primary language. I don't mind because I am an Spanish speaker but others might.

Went to this Pollo Tropical and left there so mad. I went through drive through and the guy was nasty. He had such a bad attitude which just rubbed me the wrong way. He made me feel like I was bothering him. The attitude even caught the attention of my teenage girl who was shocked that I did not say something to him. I pulled over and did call the corp office on the one cause he really was horrible with his customer service skills (I should say LACK of customer service skills). I did receive a call from the Manager of the store after I called corp office and I did explain everything to the Manager. Hey I know we all can have an off day but he was just down right NASTY and as I told the Manager and Corp office I will no longer be visiting their establishment. I didn't even want to give this place 1 star but if not Yelp would not post this review!

Pollo tropical serves what you pay for. It's not as bad as people say it actually taste good..and it's always pack b/c it's so darn cheap! Small tropichop is good. This place is meant for good cheap meals... Stop over exaggerating it's goodness in the ratings :)

It's a good place to go if you're in the mood for some quick Cuban food. Their maduros and black beans are my favorite!! They always tend to give more food if you eat it there.

The food is great. The service is just ok, most of the time the person taking your order doesn't speak english which can be annoying. Also one time I went they had no chicken... Go figure no pollo at pollo tropical but over all a 3 star. Enjoy and its always packed so good luck at the drive-thru.

They always run out of something at any given time of the day example: corn, no cheese for the chicken quesadilla, no grill chicken breast! How can a chicken specialize food chain run out of anything especially chicken??? Bad inventory or poor management? The drive thru attendant lacks customer service skills.

Well by the looks of the other review this must have been the one I went to. When I switched my order to go the help gave me a mad stink eye worse than Vince Offer from the Shamwow Commercials. The food was alright, the black beans were more like black bean soup, the rice was soft, the chicken was ok, the yuca was very bland. I really have had better, but I guess the prices were ok at 5$ for a full meal.

This Pollo Tropical makes the whole chain look really bad. The service came with an attitude. The order was incorrect. The soda machine only served seltzer water and the ice was piled up so high in the spill tray there was no room for your cup. The food was old and cold. Not to mention that the floors and tables were sticky. But, for some reason the place is always packed. I just don't get it.

I never thought I would say this, but I think I found my favorite fast food restaurant . . . Pollo Tropical. This place carries many Caribbean staples, and at least everything I tried was tasty. I ordered the roast pork platter with the following sides: boiled yucca, fried plantains, and black beans. Que rico!

My mother would be ashamed that I've ever dined at this place considering the black beans taste as if they just came out of a can. The staff is pretty bad, slow and doesn't offer anything resembling customer service. I honestly don't know how this location could stay open for such a long time; they don't really contribute anything special. The salads are average at best, the chicken needs to be covered in sauce, the beans are horrible, and the portions are small. The only item I do enjoy are their fried yuca, they offer a good bite and pairs nicely with a few of their sauces. Definitely not worth your time.

Thursday at night!!! Horrible and slow service!! They guy that was cooking the chicken was yelling bad words and I mean BAD WORDS!!!! that you can hear it outside! Hygiene in this place don't exist, sauce isle was so dirty that we can't get any sauces, soda isle was full of spilled drinks and all the floor sticks. Our table was so greasy and dirty that we had to clean it by ourselves. Now the food.... Rice was so sticky that you can throw it to the wall and use it as cement, chicken hadn't any flavor and my yuca fries were really cold..... 4 words: Not Recommend At All....

It's either this location or the one in Hialeah and I'm not dumb enough to make that mistake again. Although both locations are ridiculous on the weekends I couldn't help myself.. But having one person taking orders and barely any sauce available and 2 condiments missing. By the way I'm by the door from this ridiculous line.. Does it kill you to hire more people? Customer service is alright. The line for the drive thru is always long as well. The wet sign is always out. At least the food is usually on point though this location specifically has messed up my order.

You know that feeling you get when you're about to make the wrong decision, but you do it anyway? Just happened to me. I was close to this location of Pollo tropical so I said why not let me roll the dice instead of driving to the much better product LA GRANJA, and i paid for my stupid decision. The chicken was overcooked and terrible. Felt like I was eating rubber. Felt like a caveman. We see the traffic that moves through this location. If we were ever to eat Pollo Tropical it will be out of this location. The service is not in any way shape or form good but then again, that's not the reason why you would go to Pollo Tropical.

This location is right next to my house so I come here pretty often. It really has it days. I've noticed at night time is when I find lots of mistakes with my order or the food tasting bad. During lunch the food is pretty good but I feel like the size chicken has shrunk over the past couple of years. I just wish they would give better service. I understand the lines are always long and they are always busy but the good customer service is just not there.

Had lunch here today. We found a service quality pin inside our Tropishop. The manager was polite and offered us our money back, which we declined. I realize that was an accident but, we won't be coming back here, or any other Pollo. Totally turned us off. :(

My TropiChop was tasty as usual. However, service was horrendously slow. The store reeks of a poorly managed operation- the antithesis of efficiency. For example, if there are 20 cars waiting in the drive thru and the line is backed up to 67th Ave, how about directing an employee to go outside and take orders with a company tablet? Common sense management that whomever is in charge is bereft of.

This place fucks up EVERY SINGLE DRIVE THRU ORDER EVER. Every single time I've ordered from this place is always a fuck up! Dude, I even tried ordering once in spanish because maybe they don't speak english well, but fuck that. I just assume they're all slow as fuck because they can't get shit right in english or spanish. Double check your order before leaving the drive thru as the line is a nightmare to begin with. The chicken has gone down in quality over the years. They now serve over cooked and dry pieces of chicken and the taste leaves much to be desired. Not recommended at all.

I am a Pollo Tropical fan. I tried this location for the first time, and when I walked in, I noticed that it crowded. In spite of the line, I decided to wait. The line moved quickly and employees were efficient. I highly recommend the new TropiChop that costs $3.99 w/o soda, or $4.99 w/ soda. You can add brown rice for no extra charge. Props to Pollo for offering this healthy and tasty option!
